Mainland China women's apparel follows national standard GB/T 1335.2-2008 Standard Sizing Systems for Women's Garments. CN size labels use the format Height / Bust + Body Type, e.g. 160/84A.
Important: All values on this standard refer to raw body measurements, NOT finished garment dimensions.

How to Measure Yourself Correctly
Bust
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keep tape level, do not pull tight.
Waist
Measure your natural waist, the narrowest torso point, do not suck in your stomach.
Hip
Measure around the fullest part of hips and seat, roughly 20cm below your waist.
Critical Sizing Tips for New Chinese Style Apparel
- CN sizing generally runs smaller than US, AU standard sizes. Pick the larger size if your measurement falls between two sizes.
- Do not rely only on S/M/L labels. Always refer to the full Height/Bust marking (160/84A).
- New chinese style pieces (qipao, mandarin collar tops, silk blouses) are tailored with minimal ease. Always check seller flat garment measurements.
- Xiangyunsha (cloud gauze silk) and ramie are non-stretch fabrics. Add extra allowance for comfort. Knit / jersey stretch styles may fit slightly roomier.
- Regional cut differences: Southeast Asian versions are slim-fit; AU / US releases are designed with looser, plus-friendly cuts.

- A: Standard / average body shape, default for most women's clothing
- Y: Slim figure, large difference between bust and waist
